Bill Meredith was trained at the Manhattan School of Music where he was a scholarship student of Harold Gomberg, of the New York Philharmonic.  He played as the Oboist and English hornist in the Broadway musical Ragtime. 
He has played extensively in the New York area with such groups as the St. Luke's Chamber Orchestra, the Kansas City Symphony and many others.  He is a founding member of the Linden Woodwind Quintet
